Overview information about networking using our hosted or self-hosted services. 

Hosted domains

The following top-level domains are used for requests using our hosted services.

  • Global Cloud: cobrowse.io
  • EU Cloud: eu.cobrowse.io

Protocols and ports

TLS 1.2+ using port 443.

Network request formats

The HTTPS requests made to the API are predominately all JSON. Sessions contents transmitted through the sockets and recording services use binary content types.

SDKs use video/mp4 content type and efficient video codecs or in the case of Web the socket requests are made in a proprietary binary format. The Web SDK minimises the data transmitted by prioritising visible DOM elements.
