You've signed up for an account and want to run your first session, here's how to do that without needing a developer.
Note: developers should follow our SDK documentation instead of this article.
In many cases you might want to run a session on your new Cobrowse account without involving your development team yet. We make this easy to do within 5 minutes.
Step 1: Make sure you have your Cobrowse account license key.
This can be found at https://cobrowse.io/dashboard/settings. We will call this `<your license key>`.
Step 2: Open a new browser tab or window
Go to the URL
https://cobrowseio.github.io/todo-mvc-example/?license=<your license key>
make sure to replace `<your license key>` with your real license key!
Example: if my account license key is `trial`, then I would open the below URL
https://cobrowseio.github.io/todo-mvc-example/?license=trial
Step 3: You should now see a device appear in your dashboard
At https://cobrowse.io/dashboard you should see a device to connect to, hit "Connect" to begin.
What next?
Fantastic, you've just run your first session! You can run as many as you like, and try the 6-digit code connection flow too.
The next step to make things more realistic to your production use case is to involve your development team to get Cobrowse working in your development environment. This was you will see Cobrowse running on your own websites and apps.
