We define two levels of privilege within Cobrowse, Administrator and Support agent, described in this article: https://support.cobrowse.io/user-privileges.
Within the Genesys Platforms, there are also user roles defined at the organization level. Below describes how Cobrowse roles interact with Genesys roles.
Genesys Cloud
Users with the following roles within Genesys Cloud are automatically granted the Administrator role within Cobrowse:
- admin,
- Master Admin.
A user with these roles cannot be de-escalated within Cobrowse to the Support Agent role, since the Administrator permissions are inherited from Genesys Cloud.
This means that only assigning the role Cobrowse.io - Agent to a user who also has admin or Master Admin will not remove their Cobrowse.io - Admin privilege.
