Configure your user privileges to only allow the account access they need
There are two roles for user privileges within Cobrowse.io:
- Administrators,
- Support Agents.
This allows you to grant the minimum permissions necessary within our platform. Managers get to manage and agents get to make sales and support customers.
Administrators
Admins can modify the account and oversee all account activity. This includes:
- Modifying the account configuration: https://docs.cobrowse.io/sdk-features/account-configuration, e.g. to disable remote control.
- Viewing the Session History of all agents within the account.
- Joining active Cobrowse.io sessions, e.g. to supervise agents.
- Viewing the Audit Trail of all account activity.
- Managing your team.
- Managing and upgrading self-service account licenses.
- If enabled, viewing and downloading Session Recordings.
- Generate a cryptographic key pair (or add a public key) for SSO via JWTs.
Support Agents
Support Agents have restricted access within the account. They may only:
- Begin sessions using the settings that Administrators have determined.
- See their own Session History and, if enabled, their own Session Recordings.
- Change their own account display name.
